Prefab Furniture was born in the not so distant past of late 2017. A vision, a whim, something of a daydream, the type of daydream that requires action.

Prefab Furniture’s first ever product was a retro inspired hairpin stool/side table. I’ve never quite decided on the function of this product, but why should I? After all, why should one items function be limited to the confides of a tag?

Throughout 2018 and running as a side project, the infant Prefab Furniture produced many stools in various heights, colour finishes and material options. When confidence in our design and manufacturing techniques grew, so did our product range into the collection available today.
